My dearest girl friends, u guys have got to read this book by renowned horror & science fiction author, Nancy Holder. Its called Pretty Little Devils!!!! A very very nice book...it can be quite creepy @ times, esp the ending came as a shock to me!!! But, u guys go read it 4 urself, trust me...u wont b disappointed!!!! :)

I just came back from Penang ytd morning @ 12pm. Finally, the reno of the hse is done!!!!! The kitchen cabinets are up....so nice :)

I had a dam nice time in Pg. Went shopping in Queensbay Mall & Gurney Plaza. Yay, yet nothing beats KL standard & its shopping variety. I saw many adorable outfits in Forever 21...sadly couldnt buy em yet....far too exp....but im def dragging mum dwn there after xmas...teehee

Auntie Bee Saik's new house is like an English fairytale cottage,its so warm n cosy. We hardly ever on the fan....the wind is so 'menyegarkan' n @ times....cold!!!! But if there's one thing I dislike about their house, its that the entire house's theme is floral!!!! Everywhere I turn there are flowers!!!! The doorknob is painted w flowers...even the toilet seat is swathed in flowers...eew!!!

But, for u camwhore folks, u'll love it...bsides the tons of flowers...there are also a ton of mirrors of all sorts!!!! lol =)

The children's rooms are like any lil girl's dream come true!!! Its so white...so English-y...aah..i want it!!! N I love their telephone...it's the last time punya phone....as usual it's painted with flowers...nonetheless, very nice...an antique.

In Penang, I also saw in my coussies how close sisters can really be...my cousin sisters were so close to one another, bsides the ocassional words of "Shutup" and "Get Lost". I saw them sharing secrets and absolutely evrything else on earth to one another..even their times of bimboness & crushes on 'en tao' guys!!! lol...keep up ur sisterhood dearies...I envy that bond oh-so-very much!!!! I really want my very own either younger or older sister to gossip to rite now...:(

Today I went to church then a-visiting^^...pressies this year are so nice...mostly necklaces & 100 bux frm parents...:)I've been watching xmas shows on hallmark(702) ever since 5pm til now...so nice!!!

I am so not looking 4wd 2 SPM....gaah!!!

As the title says, Su Ann, Joveen & I planned a surprise party for our dear buffdae girl, Michelle Lim on the 14th. As usual, being the procrastinator that I am, I did not want to do any planning till the last minute...hehe...my bad :P So I was so busy on the 14th itself, what with the ever-gila long line of people queing up @ 12pm on a Friday just to buy JCO'S!! Seriously no offence meant or anything, but I don't see what's so nice about JCo's!!!! To me n my family lah...Big Apple's donuts are way better!!!! haih...sadly they are all really far away...the nearest being in either Mid Vally or The Curve...forgot d. Moreover, I had to order the Dominoes pizza & stuff the 100 plus & Pepsi bottles into the fridge for it to be cold in time for the party. I was rushing like a madwoman..summore my house is stil under reno...3/4 done adi...thank goodness!!!!

Neway, Su Ann came at 6pm on the dot...i quickly showered and changed into my flowery baby doll blouse n wore shorts...I noe itz a weird combo...but I am not wearing jeans in my own hot n stuffy house!!! Helped Su ann cut out the beautifully made M-I-C-H-E-L-L-E letters to hang on my curtains as a banner..hehe...owh btw we had the party in my room....plz dont ask me why I had it in my house when its Michelle's party....i had my reasons...:) Joveen came around 6-ish, we talked for awhile abt the hols in general...then just as we were planning where 2 hide to surprise Mich, my mum told me that she wuz here already...so aaah!!!! V kelam-kabut for abt 5 seconds...than v just stood bhind my cupboard n shouted "Surprise" when Michelle opened the door!!!! haha...she really was shocked..:P She did not noe abt the party bcos I had oni invited hur for a sleepover @ my hse...hehe....luckily she did not suspect a thing bcos...a while back I had accidentally sent the party details to hur with hur name on it by sms!!!!! I was so pissed @ my spacey-ness!!!!

Im so lazy to blog abt the party details lah...i'll just give u guys the basic 411 of the party lah...we makan-ed pizza, fried rice & egg sandwiches...played Dai Dee,Cluedo & Taboo...ate Jco's donuts...Su ann,u left ur donut @ my place lah....hehe. Then when Jo & Su ann went home, Mich n I talked til 3am....surprisingly I wasn't tired @ all...Michelle was the tired one for once!!!!! hehe....:)

The next day, we woke up @ 2pm...lol...then after mich balik, Mum, bro & I went shopping in Pyramid!!!!! Dam lots of stuffs we bot!!!!! I bot new Burberry-like flats from Voir!!! yay!! the rest was xmas presents for all the gal coussies in my extended family...we stil dunno wad 2 get for my teenage boy coussies....ideas anyone??? We cant think of anything else bsides books,shirts,caps,watches,wallets...we gave those all the previous years adi...haih

After 6hrs straight of shopping...and a hell lot of complains from my bro that he wants to go home, we finally crashed @ Sakae Sushi for a nibble or two..^^^....it was havenly...sadly couldnt order my fave & dam delicious Garlic Fried Rice!!!! We headed home for abt 20mins, then headed out again w my dad n youngest bro for Northern Indian food @ D'Tandoor...to the right of SJMC. Dam nice...I love the aloor ghobi...cauliflower in curry....yum...& their mutton curry aso is heavenly!!!!!

I need to exercise...if not by Xmas...im sure to put on a hell load of pounds!!!! haih...more later yeah!!!

Ugh!!!! this past few days n esp today were hell 4 me!!!! Y u ask??

Because my mum n I don't seem 2 get along...everytime I c hur in the house, she'll ask me to study!!!! I mean wth la?!!!! A hey denise :) or even a what u doin? would be fine....but do I get that?....rarely....esp 2day since 5pm was a total nightmare....:( haih. Shouts were heard flying from mouth to mouth n I was very frustrated!!!!! I understand now why people commit suicide...not that im gonna do it...but yeah...the feeling of 'nobody understands me' & all....most of the days after i laugh or do something else, that unhappy memory would have been long forgotten or at least, be pushed to the back of my mind.

But alas, today it cant be erased from my memory...maybe its because its stil fresh cos it jus happened a few hours ago...:(.... I compel u to go away, bad memory!!!!! Be gone now....make like a bird and fly away!!!!! Cried just now cos was VERY frustrated....T_T

Yesterday, my lil bro n I managed to play a nice game of Taboo without quarreling n shouting @ each other.Itz a reali fun game...something like Pictionary, but in this game, u have 2 describe the ans using words, not actions. Dunno who won, we were too busy lmao!!! lol

Today, Joveen & I went to PAWS Animal Welfare Society to volunteer to help out with the animals. It was an experience...^^ We arrived around 1pm and were immediately invited into the office. We thought the manager, Edward Lim was going to show us around the shelter or something to that effect la, but boy were we wrong!!! lol. Instead, we were put to work...paperwork summore!!! haha...we were asked to stamp the PAWS's logo onto more than 200 pieces(according to Jo) of library cards!!!!! Whoa, we worked until our hands were covered in blue ink n was numb with exhaustion!! Finally, we finished. Then we took a brief tour of the place,mostly the dogs n puppies area cos we're not reali big fans of cats, right Joveen? So, as we moved around the place, we fell in love with an area specially for newly brought in pups!!!! n OMGosh, they were freakin adorable, yet naughty!!! I carried three pups....who were so bising in their cages, but as soon as i carried them one at a time, they were quiet in my arms...not even wanting to lick my hand anymore.

After manja fy-ing the pups a whole lot, we took another tour of d place, this time to see the cats n d lone monkey...haha....d cats look sweet...stil, i am NOT taking chances, just in case one of em' feels the need to vent its anger/frustration on me...xp. The last time it happened, one dam clever cat mistook me for curtains i think, for it jumped on me and clawed at my shirt til it reached the ground!!! Luckily, i sucked in my breath, if not I would have been badly scratched :) Neway, we couldn't stand the hotness of the sun...so v decided to ask Edward if he needed help with anything else....the look on his face was that of pure relief man!!!! He immediately...laughed heartily while saying, "Of course, of course, glad you asked,". He asked us to do MORE PAPERWORK!!!! ~What joy~ Now, we were told to use kitchen knives to cut the 'PAWS Jumble Sale' fliers into two. There were originally 2 sets of fliers on the 200 pieces of A4 paper...we managed to get it done just in time for my mum to arrive!!! yay...perfect timing^^

Guess what? Last week, on tues and wed, from 9-5pm, my brother n I diligently went for a camp that we were forced to attend by our parents. The camp's objective is to make us learn about the 'value of money'. At first, I tot I was gonna die of boredom...but in the end, after two whole days of learning about stockmarkets, investing,mutual funds,interest & compounding interest, inflation rates,supply and demand, shares, etc. & we also learned to read the newspaper in just 15 minutes!!!! lol...anyway, here are some facts that i've learnt which is useful :

0. It costs our parents about RM 1.5 million to raise us until we're 22...time 4 uni adi then...
1. There are 2 powerful forces controlling the business world, namely supply and demand.
2. McD has over 22 000 branches all over the world!!!
3. The inflation rate in Msia is 3.8%!!!!
4. Everyone IS getting poorer everyday...:(
5. Life is a football game...u oni can be a part of it for 90 minutes...1minute=1year
6. It only matters when u lose the game @ d 55th minute...ur retiring age.
7. If u want u work @ McD's(example oni) just to get their 5 bux per hour salary, then thats being reali stupid bcos ur time(per hour) is not worth the 5 bux!!!! but if u genuinely wanna gain experience wth layan-ing customers, then its a good idea.
8. If someone wants to buy the right to use a brandname like Coke, they'll have to pay the Coke company 60 bil USD!!!!! thats called brand equity...=)
9. Reaffirmation is the most expensive feeling in the human body!
10. You can make money work 4 u.
11. What your mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.
12. INSANITY is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting differnt results each time.
13. When you set goals, aim for the moon, for if you do not achieve it, at least you'll fall among the stars.

All in all, it was a good course. Made 2 new friends, Jasmine Tan....who is a nail art person(she has dam nice nails) and Aqilah....thx u guys 4 coming...btw, r y'all going 4 d 2nd one?
