I know, I know, I've said it a thousand times and y'all are probably sick and tired of hearing me complain that I've been getting fatter since chinese new year. But today is the last straw, I already am scared shitless everytime I think of my high cholesterol level and my sedentary lifestyle is so not helping. & for those of y'all who know me well, u'll know that I'm one who's scared of
pain....even thinking of something that involves anyone(myself included) getting hurt or seeing gore just makes me quiver in fear. Blood is okay, as long as there is not too much of it. So, I always tell myself that people with severe
diabetes have to have their legs amputated, and that is enough to scare me off unhealthy food.....but, only for a few days. Okay, a mental image of an amputated leg just flashed in my mind and I can feel the bile rising up in my throat. I guess one could say that I'm as fragile and princess-ey as a porcelain/china doll like that.
Anyway just to update and knock some sense into myself about my unhealthy eating habits when dear ol
Evie is practically a full-blown
vegetarian during this 40 day
Lent period for us Christians.
Okay so today started off bright and early for me at 10am, which was bfast with mum at the newly opened
Bliss 33 Cafe in USJ 2, next to the F & G mart. Then it was back to the humble abode to bake choc chip cupcakes with mum, which turned out alright but amateurish... :( I couldn't feel the crunchiness of the icing sugar unlike in store-bought cupcakes and the chips weren't blended in with the batter till it became fine. The manual labour(
cake mixer was being a royal pain by refusing to cooperate!!) was killing us so we took our sweet(pun intended!) time and managed to steal a bite out of one of the cupcakes at 6pm.....we dilly-dallied for very long lol. At 6.15pm we rushed to Aunt Chris's hse to pick her and grandma up and proceeded to pick Aunt Sally up from her home in PJ before heading to dine at
Eyuzu Japanese Restaurant in
Eastin Hotel, PJ for gran's
74th birthday dinner. The spread was worth the money as there were many many varieties of food available for our dining pleasure and the raw foods were so, so fresh :) I ate like a pig
lah, I'm embarassed to admit. -.- We drove back to Aunt Sally's place for the cake-cutting ceremony...black forest cake, I wasn't gaga over it, but it was heavenly nonetheless. Now back home, happily chatting away to
Mich and
Hariz until
somebody said its
past my bedtime, wtf! I'm turning
18 for goodness sake!!!
So I'm going to bed now...reluctantly -.-
PS : SPM results was somewhat expected and somewhat shocking in the case of my
Phy,Bio,Add Maths and Sej results. O.O
Greeeaaaaaaaat, college is starting again on Mon while the younger people have their week of hols..ugh, its no fun being the older generation sometimes -.-
