Its been...awhile since my last update. My 2nd(and last) semester of CIMP went by in a flash. True, I was busier this semester as compared to last semester when the only class that had me bogged down with work was ENG4U, basically English class with Mr. Tan. This semester, all three of my classes had me swamped with work,
World Issues, aka CGW4U, was the busiest and hardest class for me this semester. Eventhough we had an awesome teacher,
Miss Nancy Sutter, who's the coolest 42-year old lecturer around, the level of work she gave us was so...pfft. The coursework made me regret taking the course many times throughout this 2nd semester, but now that I've graduated from CIMP, looking back, I really believe that the course has done me good, I can now understand at least some of the issues going on in the world, associating them with the keyterms/concepts that I've learnt over the past semester. I am proud to say that my general knowldege has improved, yay! =D
Miss Nancy & Naquiah, the always happy, smiling & bubbly classmate of mine.
Then there's my
Organisational Behaviour, OB class, which in layman's terms, simply means business class. As I said at the beginning of my second semester in July, I took this course only because there were no other courses that interested me left, and also because it was the second-closest subject to psychology. This course is somewhat similar to organisational psychology, which I'll be learning in my psychology degree program in uni next year. This class was led by the motherly
Miss Liz Eskine, who is always so joyful, energetic and never is condescending. She's like those teachers we see in Hollywood movies, always kind and patient in teaching us, never pokes fun at us if we say something wrong, and most importantly, treats us like mature adults, she never gets angry, just silently motions for us to get out of her class if we continually don't complete our assignments or regularly come late to class. So, I must say, under her guidance and teaching, I've very much enjoyed learning organisational behaviour under you, Miss E! Thanks for being so lively in teaching us, even though we have the 'Monday Blues' almost every day of the week =P
Miss Erskine, who's amazed that us Asian students say thank you to her after every class! =D
Lastly, there my IDC class, with Miss Norashimah Abdul Jalil, Miss Shimah. She's nice and generously lenient with marks, but somehow my whole class doesn't seem to like her? LOL. I find her okay la. Anyway, we watched good movies like Chicken Run &
The White Balloon (Iranian movie) during class, which were very enjoyable. I'm gonna miss my quirky classmates =D
